Some nights you photograph because you’re documenting something professional and important. Other nights you photograph because you’re witnessing something that actually needs to be witnessed - the kind of chaos that’s so authentically joyful it borders on therapeutic. This Rotterdam event, featuring The Bar In Front Of The Bar, Flying Dutchman Cocktail Bar, and Jack Daniels, was the latter.
A multi-venue collaboration isn’t just about moving between bars. It’s about creating a narrative across a neighbourhood, building momentum as the night progresses, and trusting that the people who come out will embrace the unexpected moments. The Bar In Front Of The Bar set the stage with confidence and warmth - bartenders relaxed, guests welcomed genuinely, Jack Daniels present as a conversation starter rather than an overwhelming brand force. Flying Dutchman brought technical sophistication and playfulness to the middle act, where bartenders connected people to bourbon one conversation at a time. And by the time the Jack Daniels Red Carpet activation hit, the night had taken on that particular electricity where everyone collectively decides to embrace the beautiful absurdity of what they’re part of.
